Strange Clouds

Twinn Ethyr’s debut album, Strange Clouds is a mesmerizing anthology of songs woven over many years. Each melody carries a whisper of folklore, imbued with an ethereal quality that invites listeners to wander through dreamlike realms of song. Composed and sung by New Zealand composer and vocalist Briar Prastiti (under the alias of Twinn Ethyr), Strange Clouds evokes forgotten tales and hidden wonders, conjuring glimpses of otherworldly presences that dance just beyond the veil of reality.

Over the course of its ten tracks, the album beckons you into a place where shadows and light, wonder and mysticism entwine. Accompanied by the imaginative arrangements of James Wylie (Thessaloniki, Greece), Strange Clouds transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary, and the familiar becomes a haunting refrain of beauty and mystery.
